Stray Kids’ Han And Seungmin Are Total Opposites… But Share The Most Important Similarity

Their similarity is more important than any of their differences.

In the most recent episode of Stray Kids‘ YouTube series “2 Kids Room,” members Han and Seungmin were paired up to talk while the other members watched from behind a screen and added their own thoughts.

Although the two started goofing around with each other from the minute Seungmin entered the room, instantly comfortable with one another…

Their members seemed almost perplexed by the combination.

Lee Know jokingly questions whether the two even know each other.

And Bang Chan points out that their similarity is that they both are “always carrying iced Americanos.”

To explain why the members don’t often think of Han and Seungmin as spending lots of time together, Lee Know elaborates that “they’re in totally different paths.”

Felix even builds on Lee Know’s metaphor, clarifying that “their paths don’t cross” outside of their work as a part of Stray Kids.

Changbin explains that while Seungmin is the planning type…

… Han would rather just do what he wants to in the moment.

And Han and Seungmin even admit that their personalities are extremely different.

Seungmin prefers to make his coffee at home while Han orders it. Han adapts quickly to situations while Seungmin takes his time. Seungmin has been staying home a lot lately, while Han has been going outside more often.

But, as Seungmin brings up, there is one way that the two are very similar that allows them to be so comfortable with one another despite their extreme differences.

He believes that they’re “very similar when it comes to understanding a situation.”

Han and Seungmin give an example of their understanding, saying that if all the members were together if something happened, just the two of them would feel it.

And although it’s difficult to explain that connection with words, at the moment, they only have to look at each other to convey their thoughts.

Another way their understanding overlaps is, as their members discuss, their ability to understand when to apologize.

Although they’ve argued before…

They both know to apologize properly to each other and to move on from the situation.

Bang Chan explains that if anything comes up between the two of them, “they tell each other immediately.”

And I.N adds that “they’re both good at apologizing, so they peacefully make up.”

So, although Han and Seungmin might be extreme opposites as far as personality goes, the two definitely can rely on each other and are great at communicating with each other, which is what ultimately matters for their friendship.
