Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Proves That “Kingdom” Was All About Making Friends, During His Latest Live Broadcast

#FriendshipGoals

Although Mnet‘s Kingdom was meant to be a competition between groups, it became the place for idols to make friends with each other.

Even though the series finished last month, it seems as if these friendships are continuing to blossom. This was on show during Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan‘s latest broadcast of Chan’s Room.

During the broadcast, Bang Chan chose to play the latest song by fellow Kingdom participants SF9 called “Tear Drop.” After the song finished, he explained how much he liked the song and how surprised he was.

I was really curious. I had goosebumps because personally, I liked their house-based music “Now or Never” and “Tear Drop.” They pull it off so perfectly. I thought that this song was also amazing.

Like many fans, he also couldn’t stop admiring the visuals in SF9, adding, “They are like models.” He also joked that, while watching the video, it suddenly made him want to be tall like them.

He then listened to the new track by THE BOYZ called “Drink It,” and, once again, he didn’t have enough praise for his fellow Kingdom group.

The song was too good, maybe because I didn’t know it was out. I’m actually lost for words. How did I miss this? Hyunjae didn’t tell me anything. Bad guy. I’m going to contact him and ask him myself.

After listening to both of the tracks, Bang Chan explained that he wants to cheer for them since they all appeared on the show.

And the senior artists, and the junior artists, everyone was so nice to us. I think it became our duty, so we care for each other a lot, and I was thankful to them. So if I get the chance later, I want to treat them to something delicious.

The show might be over, but Bang Chan and the other idols have proven that they made friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime!
