MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul’s Messages Posted During “National Coming Out Day” Will Touch Your Heart And Make You Proud Of Her

Moonbyul has already posted messages 3 times in a row, during “National Coming Out Day”.

It’s no wonder why Korean netizens who are part of the LGBT+ community choose MAMAMOO‘s Moonbyul as one of their top idols.

Sure, MAMAMOO members have all expressed their support for queer representation.

MAMAMOO is also known to have performed at publicly boycotted LGBT+-centered events.

And yes, there’s also the fact that Moonbyul’s charms appeal to everyone, regardless of their gender identity.

Another contributing factor to this may be Moonbyul’s personal messages that she regularly posts on the group’s fan-cafe during “National Coming Out Day”.

“National Coming Out Day” or NCOD is an annual LGBT awareness day observed on October 11.

This day is dedicated to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people to “coming out of the closet”.

So far, here are Moonbyul’s messages every NCOD, starting from 2017-2019.

October 11, 2017

Whether it’s men or women, they’re all the same people.

They’re people you can love.

And you can’t say one or the other is wrong.

People simply have different thoughts, they aren’t wrong.

Is it too much to ask for people to understand as much as what I’ve thought?

I want everyone to think the same but I think it’s too much and selfish for me to ask for.

October 11, 2019

There were a lot of MooMoos curious about the relationship between people.
That’s still hard for me, too.
But, just, what I think is…
In order to protect something that’s mine,
Don’t harm someone else’s things.
As precious as something is to me,
Their things are precious to them.

– Moonbyul

Here’s her translated message for NCOD 2019:

A lot of MooMoos are touched because of Moonbyul’s concern.

They’re grateful to stan a supportive group like MAMAMOO, who believes that love is love, and that love isn’t limited by gender.

MooMoos hope that for the year 2020, Moonbyul will continue posting her supportive messages to struggling MooMoos during National Coming Out Day.
