BTS’s Jimin And J-Hope Shed Light On The Struggles Of Going Solo

They discussed the hardships that come with not being part of a group.

Right now, BTS are focusing on group activities, but there’s no telling what the future may hold for the members.

In Episode 4 of BTS‘s docu-series, Bring The Soul, “Influence”, J-Hope and Jimin discussed what solo life might be like. J-Hope thinks that being a soloist would be exhausting since soloists have to create and perform a large number of songs on their own.

Jimin said that living solo would be difficult, not just on stage, but behind the scenes.

He feels that it would be lonely to not be part of a group.

Since BTS grew up with their members, it’s difficult for them to imagine being on their own. In a previous episode, Jimin shared a story about feeling lonely without his members around.

[The members] said, after drinking, I came to the hotel and asked for more soju. Then, I said, ‘I’m really lonely.’ I kept saying, ‘I don’t think using separate rooms was a good idea.’
