YG Entertainment has just shed light on reports from a foreign media source regarding a collaboration project between BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon and pop star Justin Bieber.
A Chinese portal site had previously reported that, according to Billboard‘s Twitter account, G-Dragon and Justin Bieber had just finished their joint project. However, no such tweet could be found or exists.
However, on January 27, a high-ranking official in YG Entertainment told Star News, “A joint project between G-Dragon and Justin Bieber was discussed in the past, but they will not be working on a joint project.“
The official also said, “G-Dragon is completely focused on the new album that is set to come out this year,” emphasizing once again that the rumors of a collaboration between G-Dragon and Justin Bieber were groundless.
Just earlier this month, G-Dragon promised fans that BIG BANG would come back with a new album in 2015, while his fellow member Taeyang hinted at BIG BANG’s return, revealing that the group was working on a new album, and that they would come back when everyone least expects it.
