Snowdrop hasn’t even begun filming yet and expectations are already sky high with the stellar cast and crew that is slated to work on it. The drama and respective agencies have already confirmed BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo and actress Kim Hye Yoon for the main roles, while our male lead, Jung Hae In is still mulling over it “positively”.
Yoo In Na was previously reported to be considering a role positively as well, while veteran actress, Yoon Se Ah was reported to have been casted as well. Her agency, Ace Factory Entertainment responded to media calls on the 18th of September that she is also considering the role positively.
Snowdrop is written and produced by the team that worked on SKY Castle, and should Yoon Se Ah take up the role, she will be reunited with the team that worked with her last year, as well as Kim Hye Yoon who also appeared on the hit show.
Snowdrop is about wartimes, where a bloodied and injured man suddenly enters a female university dorm and a female student treats him, thinking that he is merely a student activist. It is based on the real letters from a man that escaped a North Korean political prison camp. It is set to air in the first half of next year.
