Yoo Jae Suk is also known as the Nation’s Comedian, and according to Mnet‘s TMI NEWS SHOW, he gets paid like one.

On July 27, TMI NEWS SHOW revealed how much they believed Yoo Jae Suk made in the first half of 2022 thus far.

According to the show, Yoo Jae Suk makes ₩150 million KRW (about $115,000 USD) per episode. The show also revealed that thus far, in 2022, the comedian had appeared in 97 episodes, which means he has earned over ₩1.45 billion KRW (about $1.11 million USD) from variety programs alone.

As of this writing, Yoo Jae Suk is a host of beloved variety shows such as Hangout With Yoo, Sixth Sense, You Quiz On The Block, and Running Man. The comedian also has a large online presence, starring in shows exclusive to streaming sites such KAKAO TV‘s PLAYOU and Netflix‘s Busted!

The comedian’s income stream doesn’t end there, not even close. According to the show, Yoo Jae Suk earns between ₩600 million KRW (about $459,000 USD) and ₩700 million KRW (about $536,000 USD) per endorsement, and the comedian has already filmed nine commercials in 2022 alone, which netted the comedian up to ₩6.30 billion KRW (about $4.82 million USD).

But if you thought his children had it made for life, here’s a kicker! According to the show, Yoo Jae Suk had earlier revealed that he doesn’t intend to pass down his tremendous wealth to his children!

Instead, the comedian has been donating large amounts of his wealth to needy children, hospital patients, and charity foundations. Although it is well known that the comedian asks to remain anonymous, some people feel that his good deeds should come to light, and we agree! The known amount that the comedian has donated exceeds ₩3.00 billion KRW (about $2.30 million USD)
