Giant LED Screen Falls On Dancers At Hong Kong Boy Band Mirror’s Concert

According to Singapore’s Channel News Asia‘s report on July 29, during the group’s concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum, the stadium’s giant LED screen fell onto the group injuring two dancers.

Looking at the video of the incident, which has since gone viral, the LED screens suddenly begin to shake before falling on the dancers. It is said that the LED screen fell and hit one dancer in the face, knocking him down. In the video, other dancers can be seen trying to help.

The crowd of 10,000 fans started yelling, and panicking and the scene became uncontrollable. Organizers of the show are said to have apologized to the fans after the incident occurred.

According to the local police, two male dancers were admitted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. According to the hospital, one of the dancers is in serious condition due to a neck injury, and the other dancer is recovering after receiving treatment for a head injury.

John Lee, Hong Kong’s Secretary of Public Administration, stated that they would be investigating whether security measures were met. Hong Kong’s Minister Of Culture, Kevin Young, stated that until it has been proven that the stage is safe, the group’s concert tour will be postponed.
