Greek TV Hosts Bash Male K-Pop Idols’ Visuals With Homophobic Comments

These fandoms are outraged.

Recently, on the Greek television show “Eutixeite”. The hosts were examining TC Candler’s “100 Most Handsome Men In The World” list which featured EXO’s Sehun, Wanna One’s Kang Daniel and all of BTS.

In this segment, hostess Katerina Kainourgiou as well as others on the panel made some insulting remarks towards the idols featured in this list.

This is what they had to say about EXO’s Sehun, who was #15 on the list.

“He looks so awful for number 15”

“Last year he was number 1” (V was in fact last year’s #1)

“His facial structure is Asian”

“He is Chinese”

“He dyed his hair red and it is awful”

“I don’t like him at all. I assume he has to be the full package to be on this list”

They then moved on to Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, who occupied #11.

“Sorry for number 11, he has to be in a better position than David Beckham?!”

“Is he a man?”

“He should have been in the other list” (the woman’s list)

“She is a woman”

“I don’t have problem with other people’s choices… but” (Implying Daniel is homosexual)

Last year’s winner and this year’s #5, BTS’s V was next to be insulted.

“That is a woman”

“They must have bad sight, they can’t see well” (Claiming this is the reason why V was voted so highly)

“I can’t believe there are women who voted for that thing to be number five

Finally, BTS’s Jungkook was the last to be insulted by the television hosts.

“Tell me now, is he worthy of number 2?”

“They are the same, they are little friends” (In regards to Jungkook and the other idols on the list)

“Why are their lips salmon?”

“Handsome Korean men do exist but all these Koreans are objectively ugly”

Understandably, these fandoms are very upset by these comments.
