In a clip of May 5’s episode of KkoKkoMa SF9 Season 4, Inseong was playing a word game with the rest of the group. When the episode was released, rumors began to circulate when he had heard the word “jogeon,” which means “condition.” In response, he supposedly said “jogeon mannam,” which is a phrase referring to a form of prostitution.

FNC Entertainment has responded to the incident:

After checking the shape of Inseong’s mouth through other cuts that were not used in the video, the current rumors are groundless.

This video was uploaded in May and there was a comment about the scene, so we checked the shape of his mouth. Even though he didn’t say anything wrong, we have edited the video since it could cause misunderstandings. We will be more careful about production from now on.

In addition, we will collect evidence and take strong legal action against false information related to SF9, which has been circulating without evidence through blogs and social media.

We are always grateful to those who are interested in our artists and we will do our best to protect their rights.
