Davichi reveals tracklist for upcoming mini-album, “Davichi Hug”

The tracklist to Davichi’s anticipated mini-album Davichi Hug has been revealed on various SNS accounts on January 15th ahead of its release.

It has been eight years since Davichi debuted with their album, I Love You Even Though I Hate You, gaining much success throughout their career. Davichi’s new upcoming mini-album shows resemblance to their debut album, with both having two title songs in one album.

On January 15th, Davichi’s new album’s track list was revealed through their official SNS accounts, and including the two title songs,  “Cry Again” and “Sorry, I’m Happy,” the mini album contains a total of five songs.  The other three songs are “Two Women’s Room,” “To You,” and “Spring.”

The music video for “Cry Again was filmed in Budapest, Hungary, and is a ballad with a breakup theme. The music video is especially worth watching since Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung are both featured in the video. The other title song, “Sorry, I’m Happy,” is a medium tempo song which emphasizes the much-loved strengths of the Davichi duo.

Aside from the two title songs, the other three songs were written and composed by Kang Min Kyung and Lee Hae Ri. They definitely show different sides of the members’ musical talent not usually seen. The first verse of the song “Two Women’s Room” was written by Kang Min Kyung, while the second was written by Lee Hae Ri to show their honest thoughts about love and breakups.

Davichi’s agencies, CJ E&M Music and MMO Entertainment, stated on the 15th, “After changing agencies, more investment of immense scale and material were used than ever before. Davichi’s two title songs and the rest of the songs will show the public and the fans a new side of Davichi.”

Leading up to this comeback, the girls also shared a music video teaser for “Cry Again” and some behind the scenes photos from the recording studio.

The preview of the song will be available on January 15th at noon KST via Naver Music Special page.
