BTS’s “BTS WORLD” OST Has Broken A 17-Year-Old Record

No one has come close to these sales numbers since 1995.

BTS have added another incredible record-breaking achievement to their list!

Just last week, the Kings of K-Pop smashed a 24-year-old sales record with their 10th Japanese single, “Lights/Boy With Luv”. This record was set in 1995 by none other than the legendary Celine Dion with her song “To Love You More”.

In June, BTS broke 24-year-old Guinness World Record with their album, Map of the Soul: Persona. This record was set by Kim Gun-mo‘s Mis-Encounter in 1995.

Now, BTS have added a 17-year-old record to their trophy case. The OST for BTS’s mobile game, BTS WORLD, just came out, but it has already become the best-selling OST in Korea, breaking the record previously set by the OST for the K-Drama Winter Sonata in 2002.

Within days, BTS WORLD‘s OST outsold Winter Sonata’s OST by 95,000+ units!

To celebrate this incredible win, check out the title track for BTS WORLD, “Heartbeat”.
