Big Hit Music To Conduct On-Site Inspection And Investigation Of Counterfeit Products At Seoul Concert

They will take strict measures to protect artist rights.

Big Hit Music, along with the Korean Intellectual Property Office, recently announced that they will crack down on products that infringe the rights of BTS. They released an official statement revealing that that they would take strict measures against those that habitually produce, sell, and distribute products that use BTS’s portraits and trademark without permission. Below is the official statement.

Hello, this is BIGHIT MUSIC. We have been taking strict measures against companies that have been repeatedly producing, selling, and distributing products that infringe on BTS’ portrait and trademark rights. 

To protect the rights of our artists, we will conduct on-site inspection and investigation of counterfeit products, in conjunction with the Korean Intellectual Property Office at and around the venue of the BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL concert, to be held at the Seoul Jamsil Olympic Stadium on March 10, 12, and 13.
